Chad Bender gathers, organizes, and writes news and information stories for educational, instructional, promotional and informational media including print and video. He will also be seen attending District and campus events capturing video and still images for KHGN, the HCISD web site, and other media. Charlene Rodgriguez
Communications Specialist |
Charlene Rodriguez works in the Public Information Office and is ready to assist the HCISD staff, students and the community of Harlingen. She designs and produces publications, advertising, posters, flyers, banners, and printed materials for various projects. She also coordinates special events, works with the media, and has photo assignments at events, recognitions and campuses. Javier Araiza Jr.
District Webmaster |
Javier Araiza, Jr., District Webmaster, collects, creates, and updates web pages that make up the Districts main website. He also assists and advises campus webmasters with their campus web pages. Amanda L. Schultz
TV Production Technician |
Amanda L. Schultz, television production technician, produces programming for KHGN and helps maintain the station’s equipment and transmission. She covers campus and district events and interviews distinguished people within the city and district, teachers and students. Amanda also spends the week ingesting programs into the video servers, making sure final and submitted projects are captured in time to go into the schedule. Andres C. Torres
Videographer / Editor

Andres Torres, is KHGN's videographer and editor. Andres spends most of his days "getting the story" and putting together exciting videos of the great things happening throughout the District. Andres also works with KHGN's programming to ensure that each program is well represented in the KHGN schedule.
