Who is the Principal of Lee H. Means Elementary?

	Principal Elizabeth A. Maldonado	Mrs. Elizabeth A. Maldonado and her family moved to Harlingen, Texas in June 1980. She began working for Harlingen CISD in 1990 at Zavala Elementary. Zavala was her home for ten years where she enjoyed serving as a third grade teacher, HOSTS coordinator, and PEAKS coordinator. During the summer of 2003, Dishman Elementary became her new home where she serves as its assistant principal. Now, Mrs. Maldonado has the privilege of serving as the new principal at Lee H. Means Elementary. Mrs. Maldonado and her husband of 32 years, Cesar, have three children Laura Rocha (Jason Rocha), Marcus Maldonado and Kristin Maldonado. She was recently blessed with her first granddaughter in April.
	Assistant Principal Ginger J. Armstrong	Mrs. Ginger J. Armstrong has been a Harlingen resident since 1999. She began working for Harlingen CISD at Long Elementary in 2001, teaching pre-kindergarten for two years and kindergarten for four years. She then served as the Instructional Facilitator at Long Elementary for one year. Mrs. Armstrong and her husband Kris have two sons, Robert and Justin.
