The Office of Research and Evaluation /
Computer Services has three areas of responsibilities. The first area
of responsibility is coordinating the district’s testing program which
includes following all state mandated testing policies and procedures,
maintaining test security, and reporting test results to the school
board and community. Secondly, all data reported to the Texas Education
Agency through the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS)
is reviewed for accuracy and submitted by our department. This
information along with test data results are presented at a public
hearing in a report entitled Academic Excellence Indicator System
(AEIS). The third area of responsibility is providing for maintenance
of all main system applications which includes training, support, and
updates to existing programs. For more information about the HCISD
