Policy and Leadership

VISION

· The purpose of the Policy and Leadership Training is to provide adequate professional development and to implement technology in the curriculum of our school.

· To make teachers, parents, and support staff aware of legal issues, copyright laws and fair use of technology in the classroom.

· Teacher will be able to use the internet as a tool for research, instruction and learning. As a result of this students will benefit by acquiring needed skills.

· To encourage and support teachers and staff on a more effective use of technology available on our campus.

· To be able to locate resources

MISSION
 

· Share ideas concerning the implementation of technology in the classroom.
· Provide TIF information to Faculty.

· Provide bookmarks and internet addresses of useful web sites related to specific curriculum skills or teacher resources.

· Update web resources through e-mail.

· Have a meeting aimed to address the legal issues, copyright laws and fair use of technology in the classroom.

· Include technology in Campus Action Plan.

· Purchase a Smart board for technology use and training on our campus. 

Provide the opportunity to use an ETP or inservice day for  instruction so that teachers and staff have time to access sites and to understand copyright laws

Present brief analysis and major points	Divide faculty into groups of 6 or whole group (CCC lab)
