The Texas Revolution was a historical period for Texas and Mexico that will never be forgotten. The divisive issues that created the war between Texas and Mexico have been woven into a folklore of biblical proportions. The central characters have become larger than life characters that all Americans, Texans and Mexicans are familiar with.

This is a collaborative venture through the Texas History Department of Coakley Middle School between Dan Sanchez and Brent Olson

The Texas History Department of Coakley Middle School has determined that there are three main ingredients of the Texas Revolution. These three steps allow students to comprehend how one event leads to the other with the birth of Texas as a republic as the final outcome.
