The purpose of the Curriculum and Instruction strand is to provide all participants:

· An awareness of the impact of the Internet on teaching and learning,
· An opportunity to identify, retrieve, and evaluate various types of curricular and instructional   resources available on the internet,
· Time to explore educational uses of the internet, and 
· Guided-practice web page design and development
