INTRODUCTION
You should type in an introduction to your webquest here.  A general statement of "you are here" should be included to relate prior learning with the purpose of this unit and how it ties into the objectives of the curriculum.

TASKS
You should type in your expectations here - what will the end result of the learners activities.  The tasks can be a series of questions that must be answered; a summary to be created; a problem to be solved; a position to be formulated and defended; or anything that requires the learner to process and transform the information they have gathered.  You can end this section by stating the TEKS objectives.

PROCESS
You should provide a timeline along with steps the learner will have to go through to complete the tasks.

RESOURCES
You should provide learners with both online and offline resources.  You should describe resources available in the classroom, in the library, as well as web addresses with information that you have thoroughly reviewed.  Make sure you link the web address and give the learner a brief description of what they can find at the site.  You should list web addresses in the order of most importance.

HELP HINTS
You should provide learners with basic guidelines for organizing their research.  You can provide outlines, summary tables, checklists, or a series of questions.  You can also include questions to analyze the information with, or things to notice or think about.

EVALUATION
You should develop a rubric for their assignment.  The learner should be given a clear understanding of the expectation and to what degree the task has been completed.  You can use the following links to develop a rubric that fits this unit:

CONCLUSION
You should write statements that summarize what you expect students to gain from completing the tasks.  You might also want to include some rhetorical questions that encourage learners to extend their thinking into other content areas.  You should conclude by summarizing how this webquest ties in to the TEKS objectives.
